Meet Rosalita

Rosalita was bought by grandad Jack for the children and lived with him for many years. She lived in grandad's living room so had company all the time. The children rode her regularly, included her in their games, stroked her, talked to her. Rosalita was much loved. These were happy days.

Alas, times changed. Grandad Jack sadly left us for another world and Rosalita moved into the children's house and shared the living room with their family. Things were good for a while and she was happy in her new home although, like the rest of the family, she missed grandad.

However, as the weeks and months moved on, Rosalita found herself not being stroked as much, not being talked to as much, not sat on very often and eventually with the children growing up so quickly and finding new things to play with , she was sadly relegated to the playhouse.

These were lonely times for Rosalita. Children can be fickle and she would treasure the few moments when the sun would put in an appearance and the children would venture to the playhouse and give her some much overdue love and attention.

After her first lonely winter in the playhouse, where her only company was the spiders and occassional other small creature, the children's mother spotted Rosalita whilst tidying the garden. The mother felt deeply saddened when seeing Rosalita's sad expression and remembering the happy times that Rosalita had brought to the family, decided she deserved more!

The mother knew just the right person for the job and promptly rescued Rosalita from the playhouse and took her to visit Olive May. Olive May is now working her magic and is hoping to breath new life into Rosalita, in the hope of making her feel loved once again......
